BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE 2026
BIO
Vladimir Antaki is a Franco-Lebanese-Canadian visual artist and author, based in Beirut. His practice unfolds across photography, large-scale installation, and writing.

His work centers on what is vanishing: artisans and their urban temples, cities wounded by history, family archives and their silences. He seeks to document, to bear witness, to transmit.
His major bodies of work include The Guardians (since 2012), an ongoing photographic series on artisans around the world; Beyrouth mon amour (2017), portrait of a fragmented city; Pilgrimage (2019); and Parenthesis (2024 →), a family archive composed of passports, diplomas, correspondence, photographs, and stamps.

Alongside, he is working on a literary manuscript titled "Il n'est pas nécessaire de le dire aux enfants".
